Dylan obrien is gay

Dylan O'Brien's sibling responded to statements the actor had previously made about them.

For context, The Maze Runner and Teen Wolf star plays a pimp in the movie Ponyboi, which is about an intersex sex worker. Though the movie was filmed in late 2022, it's arrange to be released in the US later this year.

This is why, on May 1, Gay Times ran a story with the headline, "Dylan O'Brien says he's 'so grateful' for his trans neutrois sibling."

The quotes themselves are from a Vulture interview last January, where Dylan said, "I have a trans, nonbinary sibling and I know people in my personal life as well who are homosexual, and I am so grateful for how much it deepens my trial in this world.”

So, the article itself is more about the movie, but the headline, caption, and image posted on Instagram were all about Dylan's sibling, Julz — implying that Dylan had said this recently. The caption reads, "O’Brien’s sibling, Julz O’Brien, is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. On Instagram, Julz frequently shares family photos—including with O’Brien, whom they’ve described as their 'very first top friend'—and often expresses lgbtq+ fest in being part of the LGBTQIA+ commun

Dylan O’Brien slammed by trans sibling for lack of support: ‘He hasn’t spoken to me in over a year’

Dylan O’Brien’s alleged family drama is being exposed.

The 33-year-old player was recently called out by his trans sibling, Julz, after he opened up about their affair last year at the Sundance Film Festival.

While promoting his queer thriller motion picture “Ponyboi” at the age, O’Brien told Vulture, “I have a trans, neutrois sibling and I comprehend people in my personal life as well who are queer. I am so grateful for how much it deepens my experience in this world.”

But after Gay Times mutual an Instagram post on May 1 with a writeup of O’Brien’s comments and details about his alleged close bond with his sibling, Julz distributed a very different side to the story in the comments section.

First, Julz clarified, “I’m actually trans masc and move by he/they pronouns,” after the Queer Times share said Julz is transgender non-binary.

Julz then called O’Brien out while responding to another person’s comment that accused O’Brien’s girlfriend, model Rachael Lange, of creature homophobi

Dylan O’Brien Used Director James Sweeney’s ‘Gay Scale’ to Play Brothers in ‘Twinless’: He’d Tell ‘You Were Too Unbent on That’

“I’m egregiously picky,” insists Dylan O’Brien, reflecting on a burst of productivity that, in the last 12 months, includes the films “Ponyboi,” “Saturday Night,” “Caddo Lake,” the Max comedy series “Fantasmas” and James Sweeney’s “Twinless,” which screens at Sundance. “I’m going to get skewered for this type of quote being out there … but I would have a much unlike career, I think, if I was a ‘yes to everything’ person.”

After launching his career more than a decade ago as a heartthrob on MTV’s “Teen Wolf” and in the “Maze Runner” films, each of those recent projects earned the actor praise for his versatility; no two roles are the equal. But according to O’Brien, his recent slate reflects not just one year of work but more than five — a period that also encompasses guest spots (as “himself”) on “Curb Your Enthusiasm”

The early reviews for Jordan Peele’s Weird City are in and it has been confirmed (as shown in the trailer) star Dylan O’Brien is playing a queer character on the show. Of course, certain people have an issue with such a casting choice.

If you are someone who has been part of the Teen Wolf fandom and comprehend about the hate Dylan O’Brien gets for playing Stiles, the most trendy character from the reveal, the current uproar over his casting in Weird City shouldn’t be much of a surprise.

I would have ignored the issue if it didn’t comprise the very real issue Hollywood has of casting straight actors in homosexual roles. It is something I take quite seriously and that is why I decided to compose this opinion piece.

Do I think queer actors should play queer roles? Yes!

Queer actors, who are publicly out, don’t get the same opportunities as direct actors do even when they are auditioning for queer roles.

Do I ponder every queer role should go to a gay actor? No.

I’m someone who looks at the proposal as a whole. For example, Disney’s upcoming Jungle Cruise will have a queer character. Now, that is a role which should have gone to
